Rector Ilshat Gafurov handed over graduation papers during a traditional ceremony.

Over 250 students gathered on July 4th to collect their diplomas with honors. About 2,000 of the total 8,000 graduates of 2017 showed excellent results.

In his congratulatory speech Rector Gafurov said, “All these years the University tried to convey to you the ideals of responsibility and professionalism. A new time has come for you, the time of adult life and achievements. Don’t forget that this life warrants constant self-development and new knowledge”.

The graduates thanked their mentors and teachers for their enlightening lectures and help. Rector, the University’s captain, received a gift from the students – binoculars which symbolize views on a bright future. Rector reminded everyone that alma mater is always glad to see its alumni in different capacities, including that of a member of the Alumni Association.
