A delegation from China visited on June 22nd.

The team comprised LNU President Shi Mingde, Director of LNU International Office Li Zheneng, Dean of LNU School of Liberal Arts Shang Lijun, and Professor Yang Zhi of Henan University.

In the morning they met with Vice-Rector Linar Latypov and signed a cooperation agreement. After touring the University’s points of interest and the city the guests returned to meet with the Institute of Social and Philosophical Sciences and Mass Communications. ISPSMC was represented by Director Mikhail Schelkunov, deputy directors, educators, and other interested individuals.

Dr. Schelkunov talked about the Institute's activities and mentioned that there are currently 17 Chinese students there. The visitors spoke about LNU and expressed interest in cooperation, specifically in journalism and media education. LNU School of Liberal Arts and KFU Higher School of Journalism and Media Communications now plan to outline the details of proposed academic exchange.
