Professor Evgeni Magid presented a paper at All-Russian Scientific and Practical Seminar 'БТС-ИИ 2016'

The third All-Russian Scientific and Practical Seminar "Unpiloted Vehicles with Artificial Intelligence Elements" ("БТС-ИИ 2016") was held on September 22-23, 2016. The seminar was organized by the Russian Association of Artificial Intelligence in cooperation with Innopolis University.

At the seminar, papers were presented on significant scientific and technological developments in the field of technologies providing increasing the degree of autonomy of unpiloted vehicles of various types (air, ground, surface, submarine, etc.) and destination (civil, commercial, military, etc.) due to application of methods and models of artificial intelligence. In addition, the results of applied research studies that were presented, demonstrated the applicability of known methods and algorithms of artificial intelligence in solving practical problems using unpiloted transport systems.

Head of Intellectual Robotics Department, Professor Evgeni Magid, who acted as chairman of the local organizing committee and member of the program committee of the seminar, presented paper on rescue robotics, took part in the round table organized by the Foundation for Advanced Studies on "Autonomous small highly maneuverable unpiloted aerial vehicles of a multi-rotor type" and in panel discussion on "The Current State of Intellectual unpiloted transport systems".

This year, the All-Russian Scientific and Practical Seminar "Unpiloted Transport Vehicles with Artificial Intelligence Elements" (БТС-ИИ 2017) will be held at Kazan Federal University. The organizing committee of the seminar is headed by Professor Eveni Magid. Commettee deputy is director for research activities of Higher School ITIS Maxim Talanov and LIRS employee Leysan Sabirova.

We invite researchers and students to send their reports, written in accordance with the requirements of the seminar to sabirova@it.kfu.ru. Deadline for submission of reports has been extended!
