Stanislav Alexandrov joined the Russian five top post-graduate students

Stanislav Alexandrov, a postgraduate student of the KFU Faculty of Law was awarded with one of the five personal scholarships named after Vladimir Tumanov.

The postgraduate student of the KFU Faculty of Law, Stanislav Alexandrov, not only corresponds the high requirements for the scholarship n.a. Vladimir Tumanov, but he is also engaged into study of legal aspects of reforming the European Court of Human Rights. So, the theme of the candidate`s thesis and research interests of Stanislav Aleksandrov coincide with occupation of Vladimir Tumanov who was a judge at the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg.

"Historically, the European Court of Human Rights brought us together with a prominent Russian lawyer, a great practitioner and major theorist in this field - Vladimir Tumanov. Certainly, in my research, I often resort to his work, that reveals the subject from the inside", said Stanislav Aleksandrov.

It should be added that Kazan postgraduate student Stanislav Aleksandrov is familiar with the work of the Court not only in theory, but also in practice. In 2010 Stanislav had an international internship in Strasbourg, Council of Europe and the European Court of Human Rights. During his internship in France, where he represented Kazan University, he proved himself very worthy. "This was a very useful trip from the point of practical work in the European Court of Justice, and from the point of creative and scientific research”, shared his memories Stanislav Aleksandrov.
