Professor Mohammed Saleh Al-Ammari, Director of Center of Arabic culture "Al-Khadara" met with Dr. Tamer Khalili, General Secretary of the Foundation for Scientific Cooperation with the CIS Countries attached to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Arab Republic of Egypt on January 31, 2013.
They discussed development of scientific and cultural cooperation. On this occasion on behalf of the Centre, Director of Institute of Oriental Studies and International Relations, and Kazan Federal University administration Professor Al-Ammari expressed his appreciation and gratitude to Mr. Khalili and to the Ministry staff for the difficult but very important mission to spread the Arabic language and culture, and to get to know more about ancient civilizations of Egypt.
Dr. Tamer Khalili noticed that the Center of Arabic culture "Al-Khadara" plays a key role in strengthening friendly ties between the Tartar and Arab peoples. He also promised to increase the number of quotas on language internships for the Republic of Tatarstan. It was agreed to organize special courses for teachers of the Arabic language of the Republic of Tatarstan in Kazan.
