Kazan Federal University and Ford-Sollers-Elabuga signed Agreement of Cooperation

The agreement of cooperation between Kazan Federal University and "Ford-Sollers-Elabuga" was signed on January, 31 by the Rector Ilshat Gafurov and the First Vice-President and Exe­cutive Director of "Ford-Sollers-Elabuga" Adil Shirinov.

The cooperation will include a range of activities, starting from the process of teaching students basic skills of automotive building, economics, marketing to getting additional education in areas related with engineering and the automotive industry: design, engineering, 3d-modeling, etc. Adil Shirinov also noted the possibility of collaborative research and creation of joint laboratories in the future.

Ilshat Gafurov said that such cooperation is the imperative of our time. "Today many say about training for the real economy, that’s why it is right to sign an agreement which gives Institute in Naberezhnye Chelny at the start of its formation the possibility to be controlled by the large industrial company. The collaborative process is to be initiated with the training and retraining of academic staff."

Adil Shirinov assured the Rector that the cooperation is to give positive results.

For information: LLC "Ford Sollers-Elabuga" is a production complex in the Special Economic Zone "Alabuga" (Tatarstan) launched in 2008. The company is a part of the automotive holding SOLLERS.
