The delegation is visiting on February 28th.
The arriving team includes Deputy Prime Minister of Dagestan Yekaterina Tolstikova, Minister of Education and Science of Dagestan Shakhabas Shakhov, and Minister of Land and Property of Dagestan Ruslan Magomedov. Rector Gafurov has had professional links with Ms. Tolstikova from her previous tenure as Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Russia.
During the meeting he talked about pedagogical education at KFU – a topic that was of special interest to the guests. Namely, classical and distributed education systems were discussed. Dr. Gafurov also outlined the principles on which the Tatarstan Republican Coordinating Council on Education is based. Dagestan is also a multiethnic region, so the experience of Tatarstan is relevant.
The guests also plan to visit the Institute of Psychology and Education (where a meeting with master students of pedagogy is arranged), the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication, and the Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Biology. During the latter they are joined by the Rector of Dagestan State Medical Academy Suleyman Mammayev.
