Kazan University Delegation Returned from Trinity College Dublin

The Institute of Physics team went to Ireland at the end of January.

The three visitors were Director of the Institute Sergey Nikitin, Senior Research Associate of the Center of Quantum Technologies Roman Yusupov, and Junior Research Associate of the Quantum Liquids and Quantum Gases Lab Niyaz Beysengulov.

Trinity College is actively involved in nanomaterial research, including fullerenes, nanotubes, nanowires, chalcogenides of transition metals, monolayer materials and their composites.

The host party escorted Russian guests to the School of Physics and the Center for Research on Adaptive Nanostructures and Nanodevices.

Kazanites presented their research at a seminar. The program concluded with a roundtable that helped outline prospective joint projects. One of them will be oxides for transparent electrodes of displays and solar panels.
