On December 8,  in the KFU Campus 9 the Round table "Intercultural dialogue in the Republic of Tatarstan and Russia: conditions and the ways of improvement" was held within the framework of TEMPUS ALLMEET "Actions of Lifelong Learning addressing Multicultural Education and Tolerance in Russia".

Eldar Aetdinov, PhD, Associate Professor, Department of Social and Human Sciences, was the moderator of the round table. The participants of the round table were of the Naberezhnye Chelny Office of the Federal Migration Service Department representatives, leaders of the social movements for youth, representatives of the youth media, Elvira Maximova, Head of International Relations Department of Kazan Federal University, Kazan Federal University professors. During the debate issues of state participation and its authorities in intercultural dialogue, the possibility of municipalities to improve interethnic relations, the role of civil society institutions in the development of tolerance were discussed.
