Mr. Rushby has become a regular visitor and collaborator since 2014.

The guest is now also a Co-Editor in Chief of the Education and Self-Development journal (established by KFU in 2007) together with Professor Roza Valeeva. Mr. Rushby currently consults the University on the matters of internationalization of the journal and its promotion with the goal of entering Scopus and Web of Science lists. He presented the latest ideas and measures to Rector Gafurov on November 10th. He previously was the Editor of the British Journal of Educational Technology for 22 years.

It's Nick Rushby's only project in Russia where he not only co-edits but also holds master classes and teaching sessions on paper writing, editing, database and citation management. This visit also includes a number of those. Namely, Mr. Rushby held a seminar for KFU's journals to help them with directing editorial policies.

During the Project 5-100 meeting at MIPT on November 11th the visitor and Director of the Institute of Psychology and Education Aydar Kalimullin presented their best practices in university journal management. Dr. Kalimullin emphasized that the initiative came from the organizers – this means that KFU's experience is noticed and appreciated by Russian colleagues.
