Indian and Indonesian Guests Get Acquainted with Kazan University

Two more delegations were spotted at various locations on August 22nd.

The Indian one actually consisted of a single person – Counselor (Science & Technology) of the Embassy of India Abhishek Vaish. He visited the Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Biology and its different facilities, including the Medical Simulation Center. He also went to get a close look at physics and chemistry labs and had a talk with Director of ITIS Ayrat Khasyanov about student recruitment.

The Indonesian guests from Aceh province wanted to know more about advanced training programs for their PhDs. They were especially interested in mathematics and physics – both research areas can offer multiple opportunities to combine research and advanced education at their transnational Open Labs. Vice-Rector Linar Latypov noted that cooperation of young minds may prove to be very useful for both sides. The program for the Indonesian team also included a traditional overview of the Museum of History.
