Only because they fought for peace,

The soldiers of my Motherland.

In honor of Victory Day students of the Institute of Physics prepared presentations about films about the Great Patriotic War. They not only gave information about the plot, director, actors, nominations and awards these films got, but also acted out one of the scenes from them. Thus, having got into soldiers’ and state leaders’ shoes, they tried to feel and convey all the suffering and pain our people went through, and to show the strength of our great-grandfathers which helped them overcome everything and get this great victory.

Both old Soviet Union and modern films were discussed. The students were pleased to sing songs of the war years and with deepest respect and very many thanks remembered their family members - veterans.

It should be noted that such great films about the war will always help in Patriotic education as they help create and put across the atmosphere of those times and events.
