The six-day event has attracted 5 thousand participants, 40 of whom represent Kazan University.
The festival started with a huge march along Kremlevskaya street on Sunday (something that has become a tradition lately).
The contestants will present their best works at six venues across the city: Ekiyat Theatre, Tatar State Drama and Comedy Theatre, Kamal Theatre, Sports Academy, Kazan Youth Theatre, and the University’s UNICS Culture and Sports Center. There are six nominations: Music, Dance, Theatre, Original Performance, Regional Program, and Journalism.
The results will be announced during a gala on May 19th.
