Regional aspect of Russia`s entry into WTO was discussed in KFU

On December, 7 was organized the round table within courses on further training for managers from exe­cutive committees of Tatarstan “Territorial development: strategic management in municipal management”. Topic for meeting is vital – “Legal and economic assessment of perspectives of Russia`s entry into WTO: regional aspect”.

Linar Latypov, Vice-Rector for international affairs, greeted participants on behalf of Rector. Head of the Department on state officials affairs at President of Republic of Tatarstan, Alexander Belov noted that there was organized working group, where problems that may face Republic on this stage of entry are being discussed. “Our Republic always actively and positively responds on economic challenges. I hope that high economic positions of Tatarstan will help to overcome this process”, said Head of the Department of the Ministry of Justice.

The representatives of the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Foreign Ministry acted as experts of roundtable. In their reports they tried to cover all of the frequently asked questions on Russia's entry into WTO, highlighting such areas as - the international legal aspects of our country's participation in the WTO, customs and tariff policy and others.
The roundtable participants agreed to continue detailed discussion of this issue.
