Thuringian Delegation at Kazan University

The group is headed by the State Minister of Economy, Science and the Digital Economy Wolfgang Tiefensee.

Vice-Rectors Marat Safiullin and Linar Latypov were among those who met the guests on April 19th. Representatives of the Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Biology were also present.

A trilateral project in technology transfer was proposed by AJZ Engineering GmbH with the Friedrich Schiller University's participation. The agreement can serve as the basis for the development of the University Clinic and possible future establishment of the Russian-German Medical Education Academy.

Vice-Rector Safiullin opined that such an academy would be an interesting project for the University.

AJZ Engineering is also eager to provide consulting for fine-tuning the Clinic's work in both medical help and education. The University Clinic of Friedrich Schiller University had some of the similar issues when it was tasked with integrating its research work into the process of serving the general population of Jena.

The delegation then proceeded to the Museum of History and the Medical Simulation Center.

Thuringian representatives continue their visit on April 20th with several meetings and events at the governmental level.
