The delegation of Naberezhnye Chelny Institute headed by director Makhmut Ganiev participated in the conference of project TEMPUS ALLMEET

The conference was arranged within project TEMPUS ALLMEET and held in Lisbon, November 23-28. The target was to implement the principles of cross-cultural education and tolerance in Russia.

Lisbon, November 23, the international research and practice conference Intercultural dialogue: learning, speaking, sharing. Among the speakers there was the academic staff of Naberezhnye Chelny Institute of KFU: Jamily Mustafina, full PhD, professor, and Eldat Aetdinov, PhD in Political science, associated professor. Jamily Mustafina prepared the report on Minor languages in the Russian Federation: functional support and inclusion experience that included the up-to-date analyses of the minor languages in the RF. The report by Eldar Aetdinov, Inercultural dialogue: a theoretical model and its implementation in the Russian Federation touched upon the social and political foundations of the cross-cultural dialogue in the RF in theory and practice.

The delegates visited the Cross-Cultural Education Center, Center for Immigrant Integration and met the researches from Nova University who presented their research results in the domain.

The result of the visit is the cooperation agreement between Universidade de Lisboa and Kazan Federal University. The cooperation assumes academic staff exchange, students exchange, and joint research and educational projects.
