Philology Department, Humanities and Social Studies Division, arranged the meeting with the foreign applicants on March 31. The meeting supports foreign students in social and cultural adaptation and integration.
Friendship of nations is wealth that Tatarstan has. Our region unites variety of cultures, religions, nations and allows both native people and foreigners to realize their potential. Nabereznye Chelny Institute of KFU itself is poised to accept foreign students and hand them an opportunity of education and further professional accomplishments.
Arranging the meeting the students and the academic staff of Department pursued the idea of introducing the foreign applicants to the Russian and Tatar cultures, customs and traditions. The audience enjoyed the students entertaining performances. The students’ get-together finished with a nice tea party and traditional dishes. Moreover, the students were surprised by improvised performance of one of the guests, Daniel.
Such events let us loosen up, foster the tolerance and respect the cultures and traditions.
