Day of Neutrality of Turkmenistan in KFU

On December, 12 the Council of international undergraduate and postgraduate students from dormitory № 9 organized the Day of Neutrality of Turkmenistan for the students from Turkmenistan that study at Kazan Federal University. This day is annually celebrated in Turkmenistan as one of important state holidays. 17 years ago Turkmenistan has acquired the status of neutrality with the support of 185 countries, according to the UN resolution. This is the  first neutral country recognized by the General Assembly of the UN.
Before the beginning of the event the Chairman of the National Cultural Autonomy Turkmen Nursakhatov Vepa, representative of External Affairs Office Sergei Tsvetkov, Director of dormitory № 9 Mullahmetova Gulchachak. After the concert all participants and guests tasted the national Turkmen cuisine.
The Council of international undergraduate and postgraduate students from the dormitory № 9 expresses its gratitude to KFU External Affairs Office for the assistance in the organization of the event.
