A delegation from University Tun Abdul Razak (Malaysia) visited KFU on March 14th.

A memorandum of understanding was signed by the two parties on April 10th, 2015. The memorandum mostly covers prospective joint work in Islamic banking law, including educational programs, research, conferences and seminars.

Tatarstan was assigned as the pilot region for partner banking projects in Russia. Kazan University is the anchor institution in this matter. The partner banking roadmap for 2016/2017 adopted by the Bank of Russia includes financial education programs. It also stipulates the establishment of education and analysis center for partner banking and financial services at Kazan University. A workgroup has been created at KFU to cooperate with UNIRAZAK in this project.

The today's meeting concluded with both sides agreeing to sign a new cooperation agreement before the end of May 2016.
