Vice-Governor Liu Jie and his colleagues arrived on March 4th.  

 «Our province and Tatarstan have very amicable relations, - said he. – We want to expand our cooperation. In particular, our priorities are educations, science, tourism, manufacturing, agriculture, and others. As for collaboration between universities, we'd very much want Kazan University to cooperate with Sichuan International Studies University».

The delegation also visited Kazan Helicopters and met with President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

Liu Jie said that it was very interesting to come to the University where Vladimir Lenin studied.

Chinese universities and research organizations are key partners for Kazan University. Among them are Shanghai Normal University, Hunan Normal University, Beijing Institute of Technology, and others.
