Kazan University Took Part in the Meeting of the Russian-Indian Association of Universities

The meeting was held in Mumbai on February 11th – 12th.

9 Russian and 11 Indian universities attended the event. The host was the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. KFU was represented by Vice-Rector for Foreign Relations Linar Latypov.

The meeting was fruitful, with several important decisions approved by the parties. Among the suggestions were new joint major programs, creation of the info repository on the Russia-India Resource Center website, and researcher exchange.

The discussion on technological transfer touched upon ways of establishing cooperation between the academia and the industry. One of the suggestions was to hold regular seminars for business in collaboration with such associations as FICCI and CII.
