28th International Olympiad in Informatics will take place at KFU in August 2016, and preparations are underway.

The delegation met with Rector Ilshat Gafurov and other involved persons on Saturday, February 13th. Chairman of the International Committee Krassimir Manev thanked the University\’s employees for their work. He said that such meticulous preparations are a welcome change in comparison with some of the previous competitions.

The delegates familiarized themselves with the print handouts and the equipment. Ilshat Gafurov emphasized that all the suppliers are of Russian origin. He added that the University plans to make much use of the purchased goods in its post-Olympiad everyday practice.

The delegation's visit concludes on February 17th after several consultative sessions and a press conference.
