October 24 - Kazan Federal University hosted the ceremony of diploma awarding to the graduates of "double diploma" program between KFU and SUNY (State University of New York).
The center currently trains 52 students. Today, six of them successfully completed the training program of College of Technology at Canton (State University of New York) and were awarded diplomas.
KFU rector Ilshat Gafurov opened the ceremony by noting that Kazan University seeks to prepare professionals who would be accepted around the world. Rector congratulated the first graduates of the program.
Diplomas were presented by Professor Ryan Deuel and Marela Fiacco, director of international programs at the same university. American guests thanked Russian colleagues for their cooperation in Kazan.
Students, in their turn, joyfully thanked the teachers and the management of the two institutions, "Thank you for supporting our desire to develop further, for providing with all necessary assistance during these four long years and for sharing your valuable experience."
