Kazan University Transcends Borders

Another international youth forum at KFU.

Winners of Hello Russia program visited Kazan University on October 16th. Young people from Belarus, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Sweden, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Germany, and Turkey attended. They are all winners of olympiads, conferences, and arts contests in Russian language, literature, and arts.

Hello Russia was established in 2006 to familiarize young people with the country. Hundreds of visitors come to Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Kazan, and other cities each year. The majority are high schoolers.

Vice-Rector for Research Danis Nurgaliev presented the University's activities and programs to the youngsters and their chaperones. Many of the former were excited by all the prospects and are now eager to enroll into KFU when the time comes. Should they choose to do so, they will be in a good company – thousands of students from over 96 countries have already chosen Kazan University as their alma mater.
