VOICES+ Project to Be Backed by European Commission

Education, Audovisual and Culture Executive Agency of the EC published the results of Jean Monnet grants financed by the Erasmus+ educational fund. Volga International Center of Excellence VOICES+ became one of the finalists.

The goal of the project is to support and expand educational activities and academic networks in the studies of European law, European economy, integration within EU, social policy, migration in Russia, EU, and Eurasia.

VOICES+ is an organic continuation of the VOICES project which was funded by the EC in 2011 – 2014 and guided by Associate Professor of Sociology Irina Kuznetsova. Volga International European Union Research Center and the related academic exchange programs were created during that period.

VOICES+ aims to gather and support a team of researchers in international relations, political science, law, and culture studies, who will specialize in cross-border dynamics and migration in the EU-Russia-Eurasia region. The project will include field work, seminars, debates, summer schools, conferences, courses, and lectures; as well as publishing of papers and books.

The project is helmed by Associate Professor of the Department of International and European Law Rustem Davletgildeev.
