Akim Krymbek Kusherbaev: We owe Kazan University

On November, 29 exchange students from Kyzylorda State University had meeting with delegation from Kyzylorda region, Republic of Kazakhstan, headed by akim Krymbek Kusherbaev. The meeting was held in the Trustee`s board hall at KFU.

Delegation from Kazakhstan headed by akim Krymbek Kusherbaev came to the Republic of Tatarstan for a two-day business trip. During this trip the guests visited TANEKO, TAIF – NK, Alabuga, ElAZ, technology park Khimgrad, IT-park and participated in the forum meeting “Eurasian economic integrity: achievements and problems”.

The honorable guest was accompanied by KFU President, Myakzyum Salakhov and Vice-Rector for International Relations, Linar Latypov.

Greeting the audience Mr. Kusherbaev focused on the significance of cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia. He told the students about priority directions for Kazakhstan development, among them are economic, educational and cultural cooperation with Russia.

Speaking about Kazan University the guest noted that one of the oldest Russian Universities plays special role for Kazakhstan. Its role in forming Kazakh intellectuals is invaluable. Addressing to Kazakh students he considered them to be the followers of these traditions.

Students expressed gratitude in Russian and Kazakh languages to Kyzylorda and Kazan University administration for the granted opportunity to study in one of the leading Russian Universities.   

In the end of the meeting both sides presented each other memorable gifts.

Head of the External Relations Office, Andrey Krylov, informed that at the moment 18 students from Kyzylorda region study at KFU. The next year we are planning to receive more international students.
