October 4 – City of Kazan hosted the annual international exhibition EURO-ASIA EXPO 2013 promoting integration of continents, cultures and values. Kazan has traditionally been a cultural and trading center on the border of two cultures. International participation was represented by Germany, UK, France, Denmark, Japan, Malaysia and CIS countries.

Muslim fashion was demonstrated in the framework of the exhibition. More than 30 different collections of designers from Tatarstan, Russia and abroad were presented at the show of Muslim fashion.

Higher school of arts at KFU – TATARSTYLE - presented national costumes of different taste and pattern. Explicit features of figurative artistic traditions of Tatar national costume can be traced in stylized youth collections. Design of different collections by students with an emphasis on national character will contribute to the image of Kazan Federal University, prestige and recognition of the Republic and the city in the international arena as well as stimulation for further development of students’ collections.
