KFU teachers in Budapest

March 22 to 23 was held the XVIII International Scientific-and-practical conference “Modern Russian Language: functioning and problems of teaching” organized by the representational office jointly with Etvesh Budapest University and Hungarian Association of teachers of Russian Language and Literature. This event was held at the Russian Centre of Science and Culture in Budapest.

State Secretary on Education of the Hungarian Ministry of Social Resources Rosa Hoffman and Head of the representational office Valeriy Platonov underlined that regular conduction of such professional forum evidences preservation of Russian language in educational space in Hungary and strive of Hungarian Russianists to maintain the high level of qualification and remain up-to-date with development of Russian Language.

In the context of information about the accepted by the Russian side measures to maintain the Russian language abroad were announced by Government the forthcoming target programs, including those dated to the Day of Russian Language and 1150th anniversary of Slavic writing and culture.

In the framework of plenary and sectional meetings were delivered reports on vital problems of methods of teaching the Russian Language as foreign, modern linguistics, literary studies, cultural linguistics, cross-cultural communication, translation studies. Scientists from various Russian Universities: Lomonosov Moscow State University (Prof. Fedosyuk), St. Petersburg State University (Ass. Professor Rebrov), Kazan Federal University (Prof. Salimov) and Russianists from Hungary, Austria, Macedonia, Finland and Kazakhstan. Conference gave an opportunity for experience exchange in the sphere of Russian language teaching, acquaintance with new educational and methodic literature of Russian specialized editing offices “Russian language. Courses” and “Zlatoust”  and discussion of the most important aspects of improving the efficiency of the educational process. According to the results of the conference, during which were made more than 40 reports, will be published a edition of “Vestnik” journal.

The events took place in Hungary prove that Europe is still interested in Russian LNGUAGE AND OUR Russian scientists try to maintain these positive tendency.
