There was a meeting arranged for representatives of higher education institutions of Great Britain and Kazan in Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University on October 01, 2012. Several British higher education institutions (University of Greenwich, Northumbria University, University of Essex, Middlesex University, University of West London) showed interest in visiting Kazan as one of the largest educational centres of the European part of Russia. Kazan Federal University, Kazan State Power Engineering University, Kazan State Technical University, Kazan National Research Technical University took part in the meeting as Kazan party representatives. The objective of the meeting was to establish useful contacts, search for opportunities of international co-operation, including joint educational programs organizing and academic mobility development.
