Prof.Dr. Thomas Strothotte, Rector of Regensburg University (Germany) visited KFU. KFU Rector Myakzyum Salakhov and Vice-Rector for External Relations Linar Latypov had a meeting with the guest. In the friendly atmosphere the parties discussed prospects of renewed collaboration. According to Prof. Strothotte, contacts with our region are very important for German scholars. He also announced that next year Regensburg University will provide four scholarships for students from Kazan to study at Regensburg. It should be noted that Regensburg University has been awarded additional funding for East European studies.
