Language Proficiency Certificate

Тraining at KFU is conducted in Russian.

KFU Department of Tatar Philology and Department of Translation Studies and Intercultural communication conducts training in both Russian and Tatar.

Russian Proficiency Certificate

This Certificate is necessary for enrolment in all degree programs.

Any of the following documents may serve to confirm the applicant’s Russian language proficiency:

A) Certificate of secondary education at a school, where teaching is conducted in Russian

B) Certificate of completion of a preparatory faculty or school of the State System of pre-university training.

C) Certificate issued by the State System of Russian language testing for foreigners.

Tatar Proficiency Certificate

Any certificate is welcome. An individual Tatar test will be administered at the start of the program.

Candidates who are not proficient in Russian language must complete the one-year language training course at KFU International Preparatory School. Studies at Preparatory School are not included in the general University curriculum.
