Valerya Korunova is the Lab's researcher, the sociologist of  Center of Advanced Economic Research at the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan and current MA student at the department of sociology of Kazan Federal University.

Research interests include the analysis of environmental awareness and ecological culture of youth, ecological communication, the content and features of the (re)translation of ecological information in Mass Media, urban environmental risks and their awareness of the citizens. Topic of BA thesis -  «Information impact of the media as factor of formation of environmental awareness of modern Russian youth». V.Korunova has a rich experience in conducting regional sociological studies of quantitative, qualitative and synthetic (qualitative-quantitative) strategies. She acted as CO-PI in the following sociological projects: «Sociological research on the assessment of the population's satisfaction with the quality of services in the social sphere» (2016); «Determining the social conformity of groups of students in secondary general, special and higher educational institutions of the Republic of Tatarstan» (2016); «Conducting a survey of entrepreneurs of the Republic of Tatarstan on the problems of the development of small and medium-sized businesses» (2017).
