Prof. Anatoly Golubev
Born January 4, 1937. Graduated from Kazan State University in 1959. Worked as the Chair of the Department of Invertebrate Zoology from 1977 to 2009, Dean of the Faculty of Biology and Soil Studies – from 1980 to 2004. Professor Emeritus since 2006.

Number of publications – 170, among them 3 monographs and more than 20 textbooks.

Prof. Flura Sokolina

Born August 16, 1936. Graduated from Kazan State University. Has been an employee at the Department of Invertebrate Zoology since 1970.

Prof. Vyacheslav Kuznetsov

Born December 7, 1939. Graduated from Kazan State University in 1962. Served as the Chair of the Department of Vertebrate Zoology from 1974 to 2009. 

Professor Emeritus since 2009.

Prof. Yury Gorshkov

 Born in 1954. Graduated from Kazan State University in 1976. Joined the department in 2014.
