Sports and recreation camp " Burevestnik " is a center for the implementation of training programs, specialized shifts, rope courses, health events, summer thematic schools.

The sports and recreation camp " Burevestnik " of the Elabuga Institute of KFU is the winner of the first republican competition for the best recreation camp in the nomination "Best Federal Recreation Camp." Visitors are conquered by the excellent location of the camp - it is located in a picturesque place, on the territory of the Nizhnyaya Kama National Park, on the shores of Lake” Podbornoe”. After the reconstruction of the camp, the design capacity was increased, the number of beds and living conditions were improved.

Today, the camp base includes all necessary for the organization of sports, entertainment and educational programs:

8 residential buildings with 152 beds, including 2 houses for teachers and staff for 24 beds:

- 1 building - 12 beds

- 2 building - 36 beds

- 3 building - 36 beds

- 2 houses - 24 beds

- 2 houses of year-round use for 36 beds

- 1 sleeping car with 8 beds

- canteen for 70 seats;

- modern medical center with isolation;

- an ultra-modern sports ground for volleyball, basketball, futsal.

For active sports, the camp is equipped with treadmills (100m, and 250m), two volleyball, basketball and football courts, a badminton and table tennis court, a training track for tourist activities and a training ground. There is a well-equipped beach for swimming.

Since 2016, Sports and recreation camp " Burevestnik "    has been operating in a new format for specialized shifts - these are summer and winter schools, with the invitation of students and student youth of Russia and abroad.
