The department has two laboratories: experimental creative Tatar Costume Lab and Art-Design Computer Graphics Lab.

Art-Design Lab was founded in 2007. It unites students aspiring to develop their creative abilities and skills, strengthen professional competence in the field of design while working on design projects.

Tatar Costume Lab was created in 2009 for students interested in fashion design. Here novice designers develop their own unique collections and act as models showing their creations.
