Theory and Methodology of Preschool and Elementary Education Department

The main activities of the department:

• Modernization of the educational process through the use of the achievements of pedagogical science, the introduction of modern methods and forms of advanced training for teachers of preschool and primary general education;

• Research: pedagogical support of innovative processes in the regional system of pre-school and primary education in the context of the modernization of education

• Methodical: providing methodological support for pre-school and primary education pedagogical and managerial personnel as part of a set of measures to modernize the region’s educational system in priority areas of the Our New School national educational strategy

• Educational: development and implementation of advanced training programs, retraining of employees of pre-school and primary education with the aim of increasing the level of professional competence of teachers in the region

• Informational: promoting the introduction of information and communication technologies, taking into account advances in computer equipment and the development of the Internet in order to create a unified ICT rich educational environment

The department implements the following educational programs:

• on the basis of secondary (complete) general education: 44.03.05 - “Pedagogical education”, profile “Preschool education and English”, “Preschool education and primary education”, the period of study is 5 years (bachelor’s degree, full-time);

• on the basis of secondary vocational education (according to the accelerated program of study): 44.03.01 - “Pedagogical education”, the profile “Preschool education”, “Primary education”, the period of study is 4 years (bachelor’s degree, by correspondence);

• on the basis of higher education: 44.04.01 - “Pedagogical education”, profile: “Management of pre-school education”, the term of study is 2 years 6 months (magistracy, correspondence form).

PRESCHOOL EDUCATION

Advanced training programs:

• “Development of professional and pedagogical competence of a pre-school teacher in the context of the implementation of pre-school education’s GEF” for pre-school teachers of all qualification categories (72 hours)

• “Culture of management of innovative processes in the system of preschool education” for the heads of pre-school educational institutions (108 hours)

• “Modeling the activity of a music director in the context of the implementation of the State Educational Standard of preschool education” for pre-school musical leaders (108 hours)


 

Professional retraining programs:

"Pre-school education" for teachers of pre-school educational organizations with higher or secondary vocational education (674 hours)

• "Pre-school education" for teachers of pre-school educational organizations with higher or secondary vocational education (250 hours)

• “Innovation management in pre-school education” for heads of pre-school educational organizations with higher or secondary vocational education (512 hours)

• “Management of the educational organization "for managers of pre-school educational organizations with higher or secondary vocational education (250 hours)

ELEMENTARY EDUCATION

Advanced training programs:

• “Design and organization of a modern educational process in an elementary school” for elementary school teachers of the highest and first qualification categories (108 hours)

• “Modern programs and technologies of education for younger schoolchildren ensuring the implementation of the Federal State Educational Standards of the NOO” for primary school teachers of all qualification categories using distance learning technologies (108 hours)

• “Development of professional and pedagogical competence of primary school teachers” for primary school teachers of all qualification categories (72 hours)
