Admission to Kazan Federal University

Applications are open February 1st - July 1st (for the autumn semester) and October 1st - December 1st (for the spring semester). Documents and applications sent later will not be considered. Necessary documents to apply for Preparatory course of Russian:

Copy of passport and its notarized translation into Russian. Attention! Your passport should have nothing less than an 18 month validity from the date of your enter into the Russian Federation.
Copies of education certificates (diploma and transcript) duly legalized and their notarized translations into Russian.
Financial guarantees (a document which proves that applicant has sufficient financial means to pay tuition fee for 1 academic year and other required fees as well as to cover his/her personal expenses. E.g., statement of bank account, sponsorship letter etc.).

First priority will be given to those students who comply with the deadlines and requirements. We will invite you for studies if you pass the selection phase (which will mostly be based on assessment of your previous education). In case students successfully finish Preparatory course of Russian and pass entrance exams, they will be able to continue their study in the chosen course.

The dormitory check-in requires medical documents such as X-ray, RW blood test (test for syphilis).

X-ray is valid one year, RW test is valid ONLY 10 days that are why you should do it just before you travel to Kazan (or you can also take medical tests in Kazan student clinic). Medical documents should be translated into Russian language with notarization. You will also need to submit Physician's report from the Kazan student clinic.

It would also be necessary to take 10 (matte colour) photographs, size 3?V4 cm.

Before arrival in Kazan readable scanned copies of the following documents must be sent to ois@kpfu.ru:
