Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited KFU International Linguistic Centre

On Thursday, September 11, Rustam Minnikhanov, President of Tatarstan, visited Kazan International Linguistic Centre (KILC) of the KFU Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communications.

KILC was opened in 2011. In 2013 it received target financing from the Government of Tatarstan.  Eight lecture halls and four office rooms were repaired and well equipped with interactive whiteboards, laptops, pads, AV and videoconference systems. Teaching materials published in the UK, Spain, France, the USA, Germany and Russia were purchased.

Rustam Mimnnikhanov, accompanied by Ilshat Gafurov  and other officials, visited e-learning laboratory, "Ana Tele" On-Line School and Poliglot Media Lab and met international students learning Russian in KILC.

Kazan International Linguistic Centre is aimed to develop language competence through advanced effective methods of teaching language, literature and culture. The centre offers programmes of advanced education for school pupils, teachers and university professors, state and municipal staff and ordinary citizens.
