KFU graduate launching an app that helps eat right

Ilshat Zaripov, graduate of KFU Naberezhnye Chelny Institute, resident of IT Park business incubator, has launched his new project.

Sedobno app helping choose healthy food was selected among the winners of the 9th project selection campaign for the IT Park Business Incubator (Naberezhnye Chelny). The program's author and developer Ilshat Zaripov is KFU Naberezhnye Chelny Institute's graduate.

The 23-year-old programmer started its app last year studying at the Faculty of Energetics and Informatization. It took 9 months to have the mobile application that assists in choosing only healthy food ready to be presented.

Sedobno App has been created to save time on studying food nutrition tab at the supermarket.  The barcode read by the mobile can tell how healthy the food is, if it is past its sell-by date or has chemical additives inside. The program will provide information on ingredients, preservatives (E200, E312, etc.) and offer other similar products from its database of about 70 thousand items. The programmer plans to update the application with healthy nutrition tips.
