Kazan Federal University and Samsung Research Centre signed papers to launch scientific and innovation cooperation in priority IT area.

The researches will be held by the personnel of the Institute of Computer Mathematics and Information Technologies. The agreement starting 1 August 2014 and lasting for 2 years was signed by Danis Nurgaliev, KFU Vice-Rector for Research, and Youngmin Lee, Director General of Samsung Centre.   The first stage of cooperation will include activities in two areas: a project in image identification, headed by Rustam Latypov, and the other one in speech identification and sound files language identification technologies, supervised by Yevgeny Stolov.  

Samsung Electronics Research Centre is aimed to strengthen scientific anв technological communication with Russian research organizations and coordinate joint projects in the development of modern electronic technologies.
