Cisco Innovation Centre will open at KFU in September

On July 9 the ITIS Higher School conducted a meeting with the representatives of the world network technologies designer; it was agreed to open a Cisco Innovation Centre based at KFU ITIS, second in importance in Russia.

The meeting was attended by Matthew Smith, the Cisco Worldwide Global Head of Transformational Development, his deputy for EMEA Lev Levin, Dmitry Chikrin, the Head of the Department of Autonomous Robotic Systems of KFU ITIS, and other officials.

In the beginning of September a Cisco Innovation Centre will open at the Department of Autonomous Robotic Systems of KFU ITIS. The company launches such centres in the most IT developed countries, such as Israel and India.  By now the only Cisco innovation centre is based at Skolkovo Innovation Centre.

It is planned to sign a cooperation agreement between Cisco and ITIS for 10-15 million dollars at the opening ceremony in September.
