KFU goes up in QS ranking

Kazan Federal University has improved its ranking among BRICS countries by 10 points from number 79 last to 69 in 2014, and became 12th among Russian educational institutions in that list.

Similarly to last year’s results, the top 100 universities among BRICS countries include 19 universities from Russia. MSU has remained in the top three, St. Petersburg State University - rose by 2 points (from 14th to 12th place), Novosibirsk State University – by 4 positions (22 to 18). Among Russian universities to demonstrate substantial progress in the ranking are Tomsk State University, which climbed up by 11 points (from 58th to 47th place) and Kazan Federal University.
