Total Dictation, an annual educational event organized in order to attract attention to the issues of literacy was held in Kazan on April, 12. Kazan University became one of its six venues.

More than 1000 people took part in the event although only 500 participants had been expected to attend. Konstantin Kuranov, an anchor of “Efir” TV channel and KFU senior lecturer read the story “Train Chusovskaya – Tagil” by Alexei Ivanov 

The papers will be checked by the representatives of the Russian association of Russian Language Teachers in Tatarstan and by academic staff of the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication.
