KFU participates in International Education Fair in Dushanbe

March 26-29 – The branch of Moscow State University in Dushanbe hosted the 3rd international education fair “Russian Education. Dushanbe - 2014” organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Tajikistan and Embassy of Russia.

Kazan Federal University was represented by Ilsiya Gibadullina, specialist of the Department of External Affairs, and Sergey Ionenko, secretary of the Admissions Office.  

Russian education was represented by the exhibits of the capital’s and regional universities including Barnaul, Kirov, Moscow, St.-Petersburg, Pskov, Stavropol, Kazan and others.

Visitors could get the complete "first hand" information about services provided by our country’s education system, learn about Russian universities, their environment and facilities, opportunities and traditions. All necessary information about each university could be obtained during the individual presentations for Tajik students. According to the reviews, Kazan universities in general, and KFU in particular, ware the subject of consideration for potential students. Each guest received a special booklet with detailed information about the structural units of the University, the current educational programs, infrastructure of our university and the city. Local high school students were mainly attracted by the prospects such popular specialties like medicine, engineering, computational mathematics, oil and gas technologies, etc.

This international fair also facilitated the meetings of KFU with V. Kurnushko, head of Rossotrudnichestvo (Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Living Abroad and International Humanitarian Cooperation ) in Tajikistan and N. Saidov, Minister of education and science of Tajikistan.

We hope that participation of our University in various education fairs will promote Alma mater on the international arena!
