Yuriy Lvov is an International Counselor to Kazan Federal University on Biotechnologies, Tissue Engineering, leading scientists in Nanotechnologies, head of a joint mirror laboratory of KFU and Louisiana Tech University, Doctor of Science in Physics and Mathematics.

Cooperation between Kazan Federal University and Professor Lvov lasts for several years. Research group from KFU Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Biology under the supervision of Doctor of Science in Biology Ravil Fakhrullin in collaboration with group of Yuriy Lvov (as well as representatives of leading German and Japanese research centers) won an international contest among research projects 2012 – 2015 – Materials efficiency as the first step to sustainable production.   In September and November 2012 American Professor delivered lectures in Kazan Federal University and participated in Kazan conference on Nanotechnologies. Currently they work on creation of biocompatible materials for Tissue Engineering and Medicine Delivery as well as on Toxicological research and Nanomaterials Security. Our researchers and postgraduate students have already had training in Louisiana. Further exchange is expected in summer and fall.
