April 26: KFU is hosting a two-day Russian-German Cooperation Workshop within EU university cooperation programs. For the first time so many German universities are presented at KFU. On the other hand, their Russian counterparts are no less numerous. The total number of participants exceeds 100. The Workshop is organized by Tempus National Contact Center – DAAD together with the Tempus Office in Russia. At workshop sessions, the participants will present ideas of their projects and attend special master classes.

Today, KFU Rector Ilshat Gafurov met DAAD representative Benedict Brisch. Mr. Brisch thanked Rector Gafurov for the high level of Workshop organization. Issues related to KFU establishing joint graduate programs in priority areas with several German universities were discussed.
