Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Biology started projects selection for open labs

On November, 20 was held a round table Development trajectory of the Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Biology in the context of contemporary scientific and educational tendencies in KFU Trustee`s board hall.

This event gathered leading scientists: representatives of the University of Okayama (Japan), Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology (Japan), Caroline Institute (Sweden), Whittemore Peterson Institute foe Neuro-Immune Disease (USA), Centre of Neurology and Cell Biology of the University of Coimbra (Portugal), Fox Chase Cancer Centre (USA).

In regard to KFU participation in state program for increasing competitiveness, the Institute of Fundamental Medicine and Biology having Biomedicine and Pharmaceutics as focal areas established its own development strategy.

Contemporary science innovations - the so-called laboratory complexes open labs, designed to serve as a basis for international collaborative research directly relate to organization of an international "round table".  

The next day will be held an International Symposium Biochemistry is the basis of life sciences dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the Department of Biochemistry. This symposium will be held from 21 to 23 November.
