New Economic School places emphasis on KFU

This year New Economic School was given a governmental grant to support research of social interaction on the example of Russian economy and society. New Economic School Lab will integrate scholars from various research schools, including Kazan Federal University.

 

This year New Economic School was given a grant of the Russian Federation government to support research in universities conducted in cooperation with eminent scholar, Professor from the Southern Methodist University (Dallas, USA), Shlomo Veber. Their research will be devoted to the issue of diversification and social interaction on the example of Russian economy and society.  

 

In the framework of this grant New Economic School will establish lab to integrate scholars from various research schools. Not only experts from New Economic School will be engaged into this work, but students, alumni and professors from Kazan Federal University.

This lab activity will be focused on invitation of regional scholars from Siberia, Ural, Far East, Tatarstan and other regions. The first school will be held in December.

 

On November, 25 Rector of New Economic School visited KFU and met with our administration to discuss issues concerning cooperation between universities.
