On the eve representatives of the Republic of Buryatia led by the Chairman of the Government, Mr. Vyacheslav Nagovitsyn, arrived in Tatarstan. Today, on the 11th of November, they visited several places in our Republic, including KFU.
The guests were accompanied by the President of KFU, Mr. Myakzyum Salakhov, and the Director of the External Relations Office of KFU, Mr. Andrey Krylov.
Furthermore, an agreement of cooperation in trade and economics, science and technique and social sphere and culture was signed between the Republics in the Kazan Kremlin today.
Acquaintance with Kazan Federal University started with exposition of the Museum of History of Kazan University. The guests visited the historical Assembly hall and famous Lenin’s lecture room.
“The delegation representatives liked what they saw very much,” said Mr. Myakzyum Salakhov later. “They paid attention to natives of the Republic of Buryatia – famous people, who graduated from Kazan University, worked and are still working here.”
Mr. Vyacheslav Nagovitsyn made a memorable entry in the Book of Honoured Guests: “It’s absolutely marvelous! Our delegation touched a wonderful 200-year history of Kazan University with great pleasure. Thank you for keeping up traditions of the University and giving Russia new outstanding scientists. We wish you success and further development.”
By the way, the guests will have a heavy program of visits in Tatarstan. Besides our University, they will visit Aquatics Palace, new football stadium “Kazan-Arena”, Kazan Helicopters, JSC, Technopolis Khimgrad, Agroindustrial part of the RT, IT-park, and take part in a business forum, at which economic potential of the Republic of Buryatia and Republic of Tatarstan will be presented.
