Chinese central television company shoots a documentary about Kazan University

Chinese Central Television shooting team (China Central Television - CCTV) makes documentary about Kazan University.

For information. Chininese Central Television (China Central Television - CCTV) is the main broadcaster on the Chinese continent. The first CCTV broadcast was held on September 2, 1958. Initially the company was called "Television Beijing", then in 1978 its name was changed to CCTV.

Representatives of the Chinese media are working on two documentaries The Chinese image by foreigners and Bonds. Their s­cripts are directly connected with Kazan University. CCTV film director Pin Zong was interested in opportunity to supplement their movies with stories about rich oriental history of Kazan University, in this regard shootings were held at the Museum of History. In addition, a real boon for the Chinese director was the Confucius Institute, where film crew shot Chinese lesson. During the visit the Chinese television representatives were in KFU Student television “Univer TV” where was recently launched news program release in Chinese.

“Our movie is about world sinology”, tells Pin Zong. “In the history of the world history Sinology can be divided into four parts: American, European, Russian and Japanese. The Russian Sinology starts from Kazan University, so we're here ...”

It should be added that during 27 shooting days CCTV crew will visit three Russian cities: Moscow, Saint Petersburg and Kazan.
